Project Brief
Designing posters for local house shows featuring underground artists is a dynamic process that marries avant-garde creativity with essential informational clarity. The challenge lies in creating visually striking and exploratory designs that simultaneously convey crucial details about the event – who, when, and where. Each poster becomes an artistic exploration, reflecting the experimental and unconventional nature of underground music scenes. Intricate references to the specific genre or style of music being played are seamlessly woven into the design, serving as a visual cue for the intended audience. Balancing the avant-garde with the practical, these posters not only attract the right crowd but also contribute to the overall atmosphere of the house show. It's a delicate dance between pushing artistic boundaries and ensuring that the audience is well-informed, creating a visual language that transcends mere promotion to become an integral part of the underground music experience.

Project Brief
In a recent project, I designed a flyer and matching menu for a formal office cocktail event, infused with a holiday-themed aesthetic. Steering clear of direct references to Christmas, the design incorporated elements evocative of winter festivities, such as elegant fine-line pines and holly and silver and gold motifs. The flyer exuded sophistication and warmth, enticing attendees with the promise of an evening filled with refined cocktails and culinary delights, perfectly suited for both celebrating the season and fostering professional connections in an inclusive and welcoming environment.
