The Challenge
The Adobe Creative Jam prompt tasked participants with the formidable challenge of conceptualizing an app for promotion by the International Consortium of Farmworkers. Addressing the often overlooked struggles of undocumented farmworkers, the app aimed to bridge the gap between these individuals and crucial community support. Recognizing barriers such as language constraints, fear of deportation, and a lack of awareness about available programs, the proposed solution sought to be a lifeline for farmhands. The envisioned app would serve as a connective platform, providing a user-friendly interface to access valuable resources, support networks, and information about available programs. The goal was to empower farmworkers by dismantling the barriers that hinder their engagement with essential community assistance, fostering a more inclusive and supportive environment for these vital contributors to our agricultural landscape.

The Solution
Embarking on the challenge presented by the Adobe Creative Jam prompt, our team seamlessly collaborated to address the unique needs of farmworkers within the International Consortium of Farmworkers. In this collective effort, I took on the responsibility of crafting the brand identity for the app. Recognizing the pervasive language barrier, we strategized to utilize illustrations as a universal visual language, ensuring accessibility to users of diverse linguistic backgrounds. To enhance inclusivity, the app was designed to navigate effortlessly in both Spanish and French, breaking down communication barriers and fostering widespread engagement. In addition to the app, we extended our branding efforts to encompass posters, billboards, and a dynamic social media component, aiming to amplify the project's reach and impact.
